X-Rays

We have full capacity to take all of out radiographs digitally. Digital radiographs offer less than 10% of the radiation to the patient than conventional x-rays. Working digitally also means that Dr. Ross and his staff are capable of viewing your x-ray image immediately after it is taken. There is no waiting period to develop the x-ray. This has been a tremendous advantage in implant dentistry when Dr. Ross wants to evaluate during the procedure radiographically. The patient does not have to leave the surgical suite or the dental chair and the radiograph taken immediately pops up on the computer screen. We have the capacity to take individual x-rays of the teeth digitally, conventional full mouth series of radiographs digitally, as well as digital panoramic radiographs of the entire jaws. The digital panoramic radiograph is the only one in this area of its kind being utilized by a surgeon. Of course we always retain the capability to take a conventional radiograph, if need be.
