Patient Information

First Visit

First Visit: On your initial visit to our office we will make every effort to inform you about treatment options in the most relaxed and comfortable atmosphere possible. Of course we will begin by having you fill out the requisite information we will need to welcome you into our family as a patient. These forms include a patient registration form, health history and HIPPA forms. Filling out these forms here on line prior to your first visit with us will save you a significant amount of time that day!

We will give you a tour of our state of the art, newly renovated facility. Again feel free to view our facility on this website. If any digital radiographs are required in your case, we will escort you to our private Panoramic digital radiograph room where the necessary radiographs will be taken. When seated in one of our clinical suites, one of our assistants and our treatment coordinator will then review the previously filled out information and gather any other facts Dr. Ross will need to properly diagnose your concern, offer treatment planning options and outline a plan to help you achieve your dental health goals.

Dr. Ross will then perform a clinical and radiographic examination. This is an evaluation that although will require you to pre-medicate with antibiotics if you have been told by your physician this is necessary, will be comfortable for you. From this evaluation Dr. Ross will outline the treatment options, explain treatment and answer any and all questions you may have about your dental health.

Our treatment coordinator will take you into our private consultation suite for a full explanation about every aspect of your case. To accomplish this we utilize computer software called Consult-Pro. This sophisticated software program covers every imaginable aspect of dentistry in a clear and concise manner. Our patients have expressed great satisfaction over this programs ability to help outline every facet of a dental treatment plan. This computer program is interactive software that utilizes previously successfully treated cases, as well as graphics, to help the patient visualize and therefore understand the treatment plan Dr. Ross has just customized for you. Consult-Pro also allows us to show you what positions your dental implants will be placed and how it might look upon completion.

If you prefer, our financial coordinator will speak to you in her enclosed private office about all possible financial options that are available to you. All of our staff are capable of helping you schedule your next visit with us from any of the rooms in our facility. All rooms are fully computerized to help expedite this process. This next visit may be a second consultation Dr. Ross requests to help clarify any questions or concerns you may have. In addition we use this second no cost visit often times when you have had a chance to speak to your restorative dentist and find that you either have additional questions or prefer to bring a spouse along to learn more about your situation. We also are always more than happy to help you make any additional appointments in your general dentists’ office for you.
