Patient reports with a periodontally failing dentition. Patients chief complaints include: inability to efficiently eat, esthetics, & pain

On the mandible, selected teeth are extracted and implants placed. Certain are temporarily kept to anchor the patients removable partial denture, this way a new transitional partial denture does not need to be purchased by the patient.

On the maxilla the remaining teeth are extracted and bone grafting is performed. The ridge heals with more than enough width to support implants.

The patient wears removable prostheses while the implants and bone grafting are healing. |

Patients completed case with maxillary and mandibular supported overdentures. Maxillary attachments are both retentive as well as supportive. Four maxillary implants also help allow for palataless overdenture. Patient leaves with increased taste and speech sensations. For the mandible the Locator attachments afford retention for the overdenture.
